About Us
Welcome to Carol’s Parrot WeeTweet Aviary, where our flock is family and your future feathered best friend is waiting! Run with love and laughter by Carol Laminger—with a little help from her husband Larry—our family business is dedicated to ethically breeding and raising the happiest, healthiest parrots around. We aren't just breeders; we are matchmakers, dream-makers, and absolute sticklers for the well-being of our birds. From tiny, sweet Cockatiels and playful Quaker Parrots to stunning Indian Ringneck Parakeets, a wide variety of charismatic Conures, and magnificent Macaws, our home is filled with a beautiful, colorful symphony of chirps.
Our hand-raising process blends the best of nature and human care. Our babies are raised by their feathered parents for the first 3 to 4 weeks of life. This early parental care is vital, as it allows the chicks to receive crucial natural immunities and crop milk that build an incredibly strong, lifelong resistance to disease. It also gives them a grounded sense of identity as a bird, which prevents behavioral issues later in life and creates unparalleled emotional stability. With that rock-solid foundation built, we bring them out for hand feeding and lots of love.
By hand-raising our birds in the heart of our home, we ensure they grow up to be incredibly social, confident, and affectionate companions. We practice abundance weaning, letting each baby decide when they are ready to transition to solid food. Fledgelings get daily flight time to master their flying skills. This stress-free approach takes extra time and patience, but it guarantees that every WeeTweet parrot is emotionally secure and ready to thrive.
Behind it all is our serious commitment to safety. Our aviary operates on the highest standards of bio-security and rigorous disease testing. Because we put our hearts and souls into every egg, we are incredibly picky about who gets our babies. We only do face-to-face sales to ensure a perfect lifelong match.

What to Expect During Your Visit
Because the health and safety of our flock is our top priority, we ask all of our guests to follow a few simple safety guidelines during their scheduled appointment:
- Sanitize Upon Arrival: We will ask you to wash or sanitize your hands thoroughly before handling any birds to prevent the tracking of outside bacteria.
- No Outside Birds: To maintain our strict bio-security standards, please do not bring any of your current pets or outside birds to our facility.
- For Grooming and Other Services: If you're bringing a bird in for grooming or testing service, it must be in an appropriate carrier. Carol or Larry will provide further instructions on your arrival.
- Wear Aviary-Safe Clothing: Please wear clean clothes and avoid wearing heavy perfumes, scented lotions, or dangling jewelry that could startle or harm the babies.
- Supervised Interaction: You will get plenty of face-to-face time with the chicks, but all interactions will be supervised by Carol or Larry to ensure the babies remain calm and safe.
- Respect the Parents: Our breeding rooms are strictly off-limits to visitors. This protects the privacy and peace of our parent birds while they nurse their newest eggs.
